Cantina dei Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano, a pole of attraction for Maremma wine tourism, offers wine lovers from all over the world the opportunity to visit the winery and discover the secrets of Maremma wines.

With the aim of making the winery more and more sustainable, in recent years many investments have been made in the winery and in the vineyard. In phase of renewal of the premises the aspects of the productive cycle that could be improved are taken in consideration and this has carried the Direction to estimate the new purchases with a different optical: a perspective linked not only to the savings at the time of purchase but above all to evaluate their impact throughout the life of the machinery or the product itself.

Defranceschi-SACMI is once again the historic supplier for the Tuscan winery, which renews its trust in the company and expands its fleet with the new open cylinder press (model JP) size 320, the largest in the range.

Installed in March 2021, the newJP 320 goes alongside with another press, some fermenters and tanks labeled Defranceschi-SACMI.

An important intervention to highlight is the complete revamping carried out on the “old” press, that is, the updating of pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and software components.

Lastly, on both presses has been installed the new D-Connect system, which allows to take advantage of the internet connection for the remote supervision of the press.
