One month after the end of the Simei 2022 exposition, the Italian Union of Wines General Secretary Castelletti declares:

“We closed the 2022 edition with more than 30.000 attendees We host a third of visitors from abroad, people who represented more than 50 countries around the world, and confirmed the strong international vocation of a sector that achieves 70% of its turnover abroad. [… ], a place of business and networking for a crucial sector of made in Italy that amounts to 3 billion euros”.

Simei after a stop of a few years, reopens its doors to a great number of people, quantities which confirm the worldwide interest in our know-how and in a sector where Italy continues being an esteemed expert.

The satisfaction due to the success of the fair reverberates within the walls of Defranceschi-SACMI too, one of the companies who had the opportunity to present its technology during this important event.

In the field of pressing, a 50 hl open cylinder press (JP50) was exposed. Its satin exterior and polished interior make it really aesthetically attractive besides helping during the washing phase.

Many attendees were attracted by our tanks too. People’s attention was particularly captured by the bi-material tank blue spectral ampoule which was mirror finished and inserted in a concrete case. The combination of concrete and stainless steel can exploit the thermal inertia of cement in a container suitable for food.

One of the top-of-the-range Defranceschi-SACMI’s tanks which was also exposed at SIMEI 2022 is the bi-cell tank with vertical separation. This tank was made of classic satin stainless steel with a double cross-satin non-slip layering (R11).

And finally, thanks to its design tank, Defranceschi-SACMI wanted to show off its technique and mastery in integrating aestheticism and industrial/ technical production abilities. This tank, made of wood and spectral stainless steel, was designed in collaboration with the architect Olivier Chadebost who was inspired by the high fashion clothes of Courrèges.

Visitors to the stand had the possibility to understand what the core philosophy of our reality is: knowing how to skilfully mix a technique that must represent the base of every successful industrial product and aestheticism. This link turns the cellar into an element of communication, showing its history and terroir. Several participants shared our philosophy, giving a very positive feedback.

Therefore, Defranceschi-SACMI closes this 2022 with the satisfaction of the exposition, the positive comments received during SIMEI and the push to go on designing machines on the base of its consolidated philosophy.
